Alrighty, here it is, my attempt at an "infected". I thought a pregnant (5-6 months-ish) one was an interesting idea, so went with that.
Its just a sketch since my digital setup won't be ready for another couple of weeks and I didn't have time to do anything in traditional media.
At any rate for what she does, for the most part she's pretty tough, has a voracious appetite(as in constantly eating or searching for food), her belly is deceptively tough, bullets tend to deflect off of it. If she is damaged at all, she spews out the infected virus.
I spent a lot of time on youtube and wikipedia on this one. Zombies aren't my territory, but this was fun.

That is a horrifyingly good idea to me. Kinda Boomer-ish but in reverse. I have to admit that is a VERY unsettling thought that her spawn within is what makes her so tough. There's some sort of unholy commensalism going on there.
It would probably take the rating from "M" to "AO" but if her special ability was to birth (the depiction would determine the final rating) the fiend in combat and it was something small and creepy fast to target.
Another thing I like is the flip-flops she's wearing. It adds a bit of humor to it, which makes it all the more weird.
All in all, I like the idea. Nice one!

I just had a beautifully disturbing thought. What if, after giving birth to the little spawn, the afterbirth just kinda launched out of her and annihilated whatever is in its path?
Because regular childbirth isn't horrifying enough.
Wow. LOL If that doesn't get a game slapped with an "AO", I don't know what will! They might be able to get away with something like that in Silent Hill though. Hehe True though, that would be horrifying on the primal level except to those select few that sadly dine on such scraps.
