So I checked my DeviantArt page and saw JB actually responded to a note I sent. He's doing good. He's going to be watching to see the BY pages when I post them. He's going to I.T. school right now and is hitting his project hard as he can. I'm going to try and get him to join the challenge just so there's more people involved. Only thing holding my plans up right now is I gotta get the old pages shrunk down somewhere to a scannable size. Updates to come.

So I'm debating on buying an eBook reader. I'm trying to examine my options right now. I don't want to go too deep in because they are still relatively new. I'm not thinking about the Kindle because of what I heard about how you could have your collection turned off if some store gets ignorant/goes under/random idiocy/etc. Been watching a lot of youtube videos of side by side comparisons.
Wait a couple weeks, literally! Apple is going to announce their iPad tablet thinger on the 26th, which among other things is an ereader.
To me the ereaders are kinda bonkers for the price, as for LESS money you can just get a netbook and have a reader of anything, as well as a full on computer.
Nevermind the iPad. Its terri-bad.
I wasn't worried about anything that starts with an "i". I bought a Sony Reader Pocket Edition the day after I posted. I'm pleased by it. It does exactly what I want it to do and doesn't tack on a bunch of unnecessary garbage they taut as "AMAZING" (just like ANYTHING Apple holds a conference to reveal). There was a video somewhere showing that the speaker used "amazing" like 50+ times during the course of the demonstration. WEAKSAUCE!
